An Insurance client in South Manchester is seeking a Compliance Assistant / Complaints Handler to join their Manchester-based team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to gain broad compliance experience within a growing and customer-focused insurance business. You will be managing the complaint load whilst also supporting the wider Compliance team on the below responsibilities:
- Complaints Management Support – Assist in handling and monitoring customer complaints to ensure regulatory compliance.
- Third-Party Claims Oversight – Monitor the performance of third-party claims providers and ensure adherence to regulatory and contractual requirements.
- Audit & Monitoring – Conduct reviews of customer interactions, policy files, and marketing materials to ensure compliance with FCA regulations.
- Regulatory Reporting – Support the compliance team in tracking key compliance metrics and preparing reports.
- Stakeholder Engagement – Work closely with the contact centre, claims teams, and marketing to ensure best practices are followed.
Key Requirements:
- Previous experience in a compliance, complaints, or monitoring role within financial services or insurance.
- Knowledge of FCA regulations related to personal lines insurance is highly desirable.
