The predicted salary is between 28800 - 43200 £ per year.
Our client has an opportunity for an experienced Claims Executive to join the business. You will support the team in providing an effective and efficient claims service to their customers, dealing effectively with all claims allocated and ensuring that company policy, procedure and regulatory requirements are adhered to at all times. You will be dealing with a mixed portfolio of claims - anything from Liability, Property and Motor.
Role & Responsibilities:
- Efficiently handle all claims allocated to the job holder, responsible for a designated caseload handling claims from cradle to grave and liaising extensively with clients, insurers, claimants, policyholders, brokers and other experts.
- Refer claims which fall outside of personal authority levels to line manager.
- Gather and process information, as directed, to support the effective assessment of more complex cases.
- Assist in the training of new or inexperienced staff in the use of company systems and processes.
- Maintain and develop personal knowledge and skills through continued professional development as well as ongoing desk training, ensuring this is recorded in line with Training & Competency requirements.
- Conduct the business of the company at all times in a courteous and efficient manner.
- Adhere to all the group's procedures and policies in relation to the identification and management of potential conflicts of interest and for the fair treatment of customers.
- Undertake any other tasks as may reasonably be required by the company.
Previous experience handling a mixed portfolio of claims is required for this role. You will also be required to travel and attend client losses when necessary. A mix of office/home working is available.
