A high-growth consulting business operating within the London Market is seeking a Director to lead and scale its advisory practice. Backed by a well-capitalised insurance platform and supported by institutional investment, the firm has built a strong reputation advising across delegated authority and specialty insurance. Working with MGAs, carriers and coverholders, they support the design, launch and scaling of delegated authority businesses in a controlled, compliant and commercially effective way. Their work spans governance, regulatory oversight, binding authority frameworks, onboarding and scheme structuring.
The Opportunity
This is a pivotal leadership hire with responsibility for shaping the direction of the consulting business and driving its commercial growth. The firm has an established pipeline of work and strong market access, providing a platform to build a scalable, high-margin advisory offering. With a defined medium-term growth and exit strategy, the role includes a meaningful equity opportunity aligned to value creation.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the delivery of delegated authority and compliance advisory engagements
- Act as a senior, trusted advisor to MGAs, carriers and London Market participants
- Define and build the consulting proposition, including go-to-market strategy
- Drive business development and originate new client opportunities
- Build and lead a high-performing team over time, with full P&L responsibility
