Compliance Contractor / Consultant β Mortgage Brokerage

Weβre working with a well-established mortgage brokerage that is seeking an experienced Compliance Contractor to support the compliance function during a period of change and transformation. This is a generalist compliance role, providing day-to-day cover across the compliance department and supporting the business in line with how a mortgage broker operates. The firm is currently modernising its processes, with a strong focus on streamlining and the use of new technology, so a modern and pragmatic compliance approach is key.
The Role
- Provide general compliance support across the mortgage brokerage
- Support supervision, file checking, and advisory compliance activities
- Ensure ongoing adherence to MCOB and FCA requirements
- Act as a point of support for advisers and internal stakeholders
- Assist with business-as-usual compliance during a transformation period
- Contribute to improving and modernising compliance processes where appropriate
