Claims Coordinator - Medical Malpractice
Salary: £40,000-£55,000 | Hybrid/Flexible Working | London
An excellent opportunity to join an established specialist insurance broking business in a client-facing claims role, supporting healthcare professionals through claims, complaints and other sensitive matters.
You'll act as a key point of contact for clients, providing clear guidance, reassurance and practical support while ensuring cases are handled efficiently and referred to the appropriate specialists.
Key responsibilities
- Manage new claims and complaints, gathering information and assessing urgency.
- Provide empathetic client support, explaining next steps and maintaining regular communication.
- Triage cases, identify potential risks and escallate matters where appropriate.
- Liaise with insurers, legal advisers, solicitors and internal stakeholders.
- Maintain accurate case records and manage follow-ups to agreed deadlines.
- Contribute to improving claims processes and the overall client experience.
About you
Ideally, you will have experience in claims handling, complaints management or case management, within insurance, legal services, healthcare or dentistry. You'll be a strong communicator with solid organisational skills and the ability to handle sensitive situations calmly and professionally. You'll take ownership of your caseload, demonstrate empathy and understand when to resolve matters yourself or escallate them to a specialist.
The opportunity
This is a full-time position offering flexible working, predominantly from home with access to a London office. You'll join an established team, with the opportunity to make a meaningful contribution to client advocacy and the continued development of the claims function.
