Our client is a leading insurance consultancy business who are highly innovative in a very mature industry. They work with a broad range of corporate clients to provide unrivalled expertise at all stages of the insurance process β from analysing risk, drafting contracts and policies through to managing and resolving complex, high-stakes claims.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage a portfolio of clients throughout the full client lifecycle, from initial project planning through ongoing annual activities and contract renewals.
- Monitor project delivery proactively, identifying potential capacity constraints, budget overruns, timeline risks, and escalating issues where appropriate.
- Prioritize and coordinate client enquiries.
- Ensure adherence to internal processes and compliance requirements across all client engagements.
- Oversee the successful delivery of projects by supporting and guiding junior team members.
Market Engagement
- Build and maintain strong relationships with brokers throughout tender and renewal processes to achieve positive client outcomes.
- Develop and expand a network of insurance industry contacts, contributing to the company's broader relationship-building and market influence objectives.
Client Engagement
- Build trusted client relationships by providing accurate project updates, responding promptly to enquiries, and proactively seeking feedback on service quality and client satisfaction.
- Communicate insurance concepts clearly and effectively, explaining policy coverage, disclosure requirements, and other technical topics to clients with varying levels of insurance knowledge.
- Identify opportunities to expand client relationships through cross-selling existing services and recommending new products or service developments that address emerging client needs.
Candidate Profile
- Experience in an EU broking environment.
- The candidate will have initiative, intuition, and creativity as well as a strong background in problem solving.
- Experience of dealing directly with clients (ideally CFO, General Counsel or equivalent).
- Knowledge, interest and experience in the insurance market.
- Excellent communication, influencing, negotiation and presentation skills.
- Fluent in at least one EU language.
