I'm working with a highly respected, established independent insurance Broker that's looking to add an experienced Senior Account Handler to its corporate team. The opportunity here is really about the quality and size of the clients you'll get exposure to. At the top end, there is also exposure to significant corporate risks. One client alone has an annual insurance premium spend of more than £4million. The portfolio is genuinely varied, combining general corporate business with more complex clients and international insurance requirements, so there's plenty of scope to keep developing technically. Broking risks and negotiating terms with insurers Reviewing coverage, terms and policy wordings Supporting the placement of complex and international insurance programmes Building strong insurer relationships and taking genuine ownership of your work You might already be handling corporate clients and want access to larger, more technical risks, or you could be an experienced Commercial Account Handler who has built a strong grounding in the market and is ready to step up. What's important is that you're very technically capable, enjoy the broking side of insurance and have the appetite to keep learning. People are trusted to do their jobs, there's a collaborative approach across the team and good Account Handlers are genuinely valued.
