An elite US firm in London is seeking an outstanding Financial Restructuring Associate (3–10 PQE) to join its market-leading team, working on the most sophisticated mandates in Europe and globally.
This is a rare opportunity to operate at the heart of the global special situations, liability management, and financial restructuring market — advising top-tier investment funds, financial institutions, and corporate borrowers on complex, capital structure events across jurisdictions.
The Role:You’ll be advising clients across the full spectrum of financial restructuring transactions, including:
- Liability management and amend-and-extend transactions
- Distressed refinancings and rescue financings
- Consensual restructurings and equitisation strategies
- High-stakes NAV facilities, super senior structures, and intercreditor negotiations
- Acting for creditor groups, PE sponsors, and distressed investors on value-maximising restructurings of complex capital stacks
Close collaboration with private capital, leveraged finance, and special situations teams. Expect to be deeply embedded with clients — structuring and executing bespoke solutions on the most challenging balance sheet situations across Europe and beyond.
