The Opportunity

  • Working closely with experienced Account Executives and Brokers, you'll play an important role in supporting and servicing a portfolio of commercial clients.
  • This is a varied role where you'll gain exposure to the full insurance lifecycle, develop your technical knowledge and build the foundations for a long-term career within commercial broking.
  • The business is particularly interested in someone who is ambitious, exam-focused and keen to progress. Ideally, you'll already hold your Cert CII, but they're equally interested in candidates who are actively working towards it and have a genuine ambition to progress towards ACII.

What you'll be doing

  • Supporting Account Executives with the day-to-day management of commercial clients
  • Handling new business, renewals, mid-term adjustments and policy administration
  • Obtaining and negotiating quotations with insurers
  • Producing policy documentation and ensuring clients receive a high level of service
  • Developing your knowledge across a broad range of commercial insurance products
  • Building strong relationships with clients, insurers and internal stakeholders
  • Working towards professional CII qualifications and continued technical development

What we're looking for

  • Previous insurance experience
  • Experience within Personal Lines, SME or Commercial Insurance
  • A genuine desire to move into and develop within commercial insurance
  • Ideally Cert CII qualified, although candidates working towards the qualification will be considered
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills
  • Good communication and relationship-building ability
  • A proactive and positive approach to client service
  • Most importantly, someone who is career-focused and committed to progressing towards ACII

Why consider it?

This isn't just another Account Handler position. It's an opportunity to join a independent broker that genuinely invests in its people and provides a clear route for someone who wants to build a long-term career in commercial insurance.
You'll have the opportunity to learn from experienced professionals, broaden your technical knowledge and work towards ACII, whilst gaining valuable exposure to increasingly complex commercial risks.

If you're ready to move beyond Personal Lines or SME and take the next step towards a career in commercial insurance, I'd love to hear from you.
