Are you looking to be part of something new and exciting in the Southwest? We have partnered with a truly independent mid-corporate insurance broker with a strong national footprint who are expanding into the South West with the launch of a new Bristol office. As part of this growth, they are seeking an experienced Client Director to help develop and manage a portfolio of commercial insurance clients in the region.
This role is suited to a senior account executive level professional who enjoys building long-term client relationships and growing a book of business, without responsibility for people management or office leadership. Working closely with a Sales Director, the Client Director will focus on new business development and client retention, supported by a well-resourced national broking, claims, and operational infrastructure.
The broker takes a long-term view on new business income, offering genuine support and patience to allow relationships and portfolios to develop sustainably over time. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and managing mid-corporate commercial insurance clients, delivering high-quality advice across a range of complex risks, and building strong relationships with insurers and key market stakeholders.
While the role offers autonomy and flexibility, it sits within a collaborative structure that provides strategic support and long-term stability rather than short-term sales pressure. This opportunity will appeal to someone with a proven background as a Client Director or Account Executive in commercial insurance, ideally with strong connections in the South West market.
The business offers the chance to play a key role in establishing a new regional presence, with the freedom to grow a portfolio while being backed by patient capital, a recognised brand, and an experienced leadership team.
