A well-capitalised, M&A insurance group is looking to appoint a senior leader to build and own its Insurance Due Diligence practice.

This is not a sideways move into an established team β€” it is a mandate to create something, with the investment and resource to align with their ambitions.

As Head of M&A Insurance Due Diligence, you will be the firm's senior voice in this discipline β€” leading the advisory process and building the team and client relationships that will define the practice.

You will work alongside the broader M&A insurance team, with full commercial autonomy and a clear runway to increase headcount as the book develops.

This is a leadership role, and you will be expected to build a team that will deliver high-quality due diligence advice β€” while simultaneously building the infrastructure and methodology.

The team you will create will lead and coordinate the delivery of insurance due diligence advice on M&A transactions β€” reviewing target insurance programmes, identifying coverage gaps, quantifying uninsured exposures, and advising buyers, sellers, and their advisors on risk transfer strategy.

You will manage the Firms relationships across the private equity, corporate M&A, and legal advisory community, represent the business at senior level across industry forums and deal teams, contribute to product development and market positioning.

You will bring substantive experience advising on insurance due diligence in an M&A context β€” whether from a broking, risk advisory, or insurance management background.

This role carries a meaningful participation in a LTIP, structured to reflect the value of building a practice from the ground up and aligned to the long-term success of the business.
