Let’s start with the bit that actually matters.
You’ll join a business that treats you like a grown‑up. One where trust replaces micromanagement, your voice carries weight, and your career is something you actively design rather than something that just happens to you.
- 30 days holiday plus bank holidays because burnout is not a badge of honour here.
- Industry‑leading pension, private medical and a seriously strong benefits package that genuinely rewards the contribution you make.
- Hybrid working with real flexibility. Do brilliant work, look after your clients, and you’ll be trusted to manage your diary with a blend of home and office working that actually works for you.
- A culture built by entrepreneurs, not committees. This is a business shaped by people who still care deeply about what “great broking” looks like, and who actively invest in their people.
- Career progression that is encouraged, funded and supported. Qualifications, development plans, mentoring, future pathways. This is a place where talented people are helped to become exceptional.
- Your work is seen and celebrated. Not just when something goes wrong, but when you quietly deliver outstanding service day in, day out.
- A collaborative, progressive environment that is deliberately challenging the traditional broking model. No egos, no politics. Just smart people doing meaningful work together.
This is the sort of role people don’t leave once they find it.
The role in a nutshell
You’ll look after a portfolio of high‑profile Corporate clients, typically with premiums of £100,000 and above, acting as the trusted technical backbone to the client relationship.
You won’t be firefighting all day. You’ll be empowered to work properly. To think. To advise. To build long‑term relationships. To deliver the level of service you’re proud to put your name against.
Your day will include:
- Supporting complex Corporate clients across their commercial insurance programmes
- Providing first‑class, responsive and proactive service
- Managing renewals, mid‑term adjustments and policy documentation with precision
- Working closely with Account Executives and insurers to design smart, tailored solutions
- Being a trusted technical sounding board for clients and colleagues alike
What they’re really looking for
Not a superhero. Not someone who knows everything.
They’re looking for someone who cares deeply about their craft and wants to build a long‑term career in corporate broking.
- Experience supporting Corporate clients in a commercial insurance environment
- Solid technical grounding across commercial lines
- Cert CII (or a genuine commitment to completing it)
- Confidence using technology and systems (Acturis experience is a bonus, not a barrier)
- Someone who takes ownership, communicates clearly and manages their workload with pride
Why people move here
Because they’re tired of being a cog.
They want to work somewhere that actually lives the values it talks about. Somewhere that invests in people properly. Somewhere that understands that brilliant service is created by empowered, trusted, motivated professionals.
This business is building something different. A modern, human, high‑performing broking firm where Corporate clients receive exceptional advice and Account Handlers build careers they’re proud of.
If you’re ready for a role that gives you space to grow, recognition for the work you do, and a future you can shape, this is one you should explore.
