Job Title: Account Executive – Corporate & Commercial Insurance
Location: East Anglia (Norfolk, Suffolk, Essex) – Remote / Home-Based
Salary: Circa £65,000 + £5,000 car allowance + performance-based bonus
The Opportunity:
The broker is undergoing an exciting strategic restructure with a clear focus on driving sustainable, organic growth. They are seeking a motivated and experienced Account Executive to manage and develop their presence across the East Anglia region.
This is a unique opportunity to inherit an established book of business (c.£350k premium) and play a key role in shaping its future direction, with a strategic goal to expand their corporate and commercial footprint.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and service the existing client portfolio, ensuring high retention rates.
- Drive organic growth with a clear and achievable target of 5% growth on the core book.
- Strategically develop the book by targeting new opportunities in the wider corporate and commercial GI space, reducing the reliance on the existing motor trade focus.
- Work autonomously from a home base, while collaborating with the wider team and attending regular meetings at the central HQ office.
The Ideal Candidate:
- A proven Account Executive with a strong background in commercial insurance.
- Possesses broad General Insurance (GI) knowledge and is not limited to a single specialism.
- Demonstrates a track record of successfully retaining and growing a commercial client portfolio.
- Highly self-motivated, disciplined, and effective in a remote working role.
