Location: Aberdeen

Salary: Up to £70,000 base plus bonus and car allowance

As a Commercial Account Executive, your strength lies in building lasting client relationships, identifying new opportunities, and delivering tailored insurance solutions. This leading regional brokerage provides dedicated one-to-one account handling support—ensuring broking, placement, admin, and reporting are all taken care of—so you can focus on what you do best: trading, growing, and advising.

What’s on Offer?

  • Established Portfolio: You’ll inherit a quality commercial portfolio generating between £150,000 – £200,000 in income, with a clear focus on client retention and sustainable growth.
  • High-Quality New Business Support: The leadership team generates a strong pipeline of new business leads through strategic partnerships, marketing campaigns, and internal referrals—providing you with warm opportunities to grow your book further. Your client portfolio will be mixed across both commercial clientele and those in the farm/rural market.
  • Succession-Driven Growth: With longer-term succession planning in place, you'll benefit from access to established clients over the next 3–5 years, allowing you to significantly grow your income and capitalise on the brilliant bonus scheme on offer.
  • Client-Centric Geography: The client base is primarily located across Aberdeen and the North West, and surrounding areas, so being locally based will allow you to build deeper relationships and maximise your visibility in the market.

With a strong presence in Scotland, they are known for their excellent internal infrastructure, including well-qualified Handlers (most Cert CII or higher) and a progressive management culture. They have invested significantly into their support infrastructure in claims, risk management, handling, desk-based sales, pipeline management teams and admin – creating the ideal environment for you to focus solely on client work.
