So there's enough scale to make this interesting.
You'll manage workflow and SLAs, but you won't spend your days staring at spreadsheets.
You'll coach people.
Develop them.
Improve standards.
Deal with problems.
Look at why something isn't working rather than simply accepting that it's always been done that way.
And make sure the Advisers your team supports get consistently good work, on time.
You'll need to understand financial planning properly.
That means you'll be diploma qualified and comfortable with the research and report-writing process within an IFA environment.
But your current job title is less important.

If you understand the advice process and you've successfully managed, coached or developed people, there's potentially a conversation to be had.
