Production Manager

A growing manufacturing business based in the Lake District is looking to appoint a Production Manager to lead its shop floor construction operation.

This role isn’t about industry background. You don’t need sector experience.

What matters is leadership.

They need someone with presence. Someone who can walk onto the shop floor and be respected. A leader who is firm but fair. Comfortable holding people accountable when standards slip, but equally confident recognising strong performance and building morale.

This is a practical, hands-on production environment. It requires someone who understands how manufacturing flows, how to drive efficiencies and how to implement clear processes properly.

The Role

• Lead and manage production teams
• Set clear expectations and drive accountability
• Implement and embed structured processes
• Improve workflow, output and quality
• Ensure production targets and deadlines are met
• Build a culture of ownership and pride

This is a visible leadership position. The right person will bring structure, consistency and confidence to the operation.
