We’re recruiting on behalf of a well-established, growing marketing agency for a senior-level Marketing Account Manager to lead client relationships and drive marketing performance. The Role
You’ll take ownership of a portfolio of client accounts, acting as the strategic partner and day-to-day lead. Working closely with the agency leadership team and in-house specialists, you’ll:
- Develop clear marketing strategies aligned to client business objectives
- Translate strategy into monthly plans, scopes, budgets and timelines
- Lead multi-channel delivery and ongoing optimisation
- Own performance reporting and confidently advise clients on next steps
Key Responsibilities
- Leading marketing strategy, campaign planning and channel mix
- Managing social media campaigns (organic and paid)
- Writing and editing content (blogs, emails, social)
- Managing website updates (typically WordPress) and email campaigns
- Working with digital specialists on SEO, PPC and web projects
- Supporting integrated advertising campaigns (digital, press, radio, TV)
- Managing Google Business Profiles
- Turning data into clear, actionable insight for clients
About You
- You’re a commercially minded marketer who enjoys taking responsibility and leading client relationships.
- Are comfortable shaping strategy and managing delivery
- Think in objectives, KPIs and ROI
- Are confident leading client discussions and challenging thinking
- Thrive in a fast-paced agency environment
- Are highly organised and proactive
- A driving licence and access to your own vehicle are required.
Skills & Experience
- Experience in a marketing role (agency or in-house)
- Experience owning campaigns and/or client accounts
- Strong knowledge of Meta Business Suite and paid social
- Hands-on email marketing experience (Mailchimp, Sendinblue or similar)
- CMS experience (WordPress or similar)
- Comfortable using analytics and SEO tools (GA4, GSC, SEMrush or similar)
- Strong copywriting skills and attention to detail
