Are you a natural relationship builder who loves turning an initial conversation into a sale? We’re working with a stunning, high-end private estate and events venue in East Yorkshire to recruit a Sales Executive to join their growing team. This is certainly not your typical sales environment. You’ll be working from an impressive historic estate that has been beautifully restored and developed into an exclusive destination for luxury weddings, corporate events and private occasions, with a reputation for delivering an exceptional guest experience.

The Role

You’ll take ownership of new enquiries from the very first conversation through to securing the booking. That will include:

  • Speaking with prospective clients and understanding exactly what they’re looking for
  • Qualifying enquiries and identifying genuine opportunities
  • Inviting potential clients to the estate and conducting show-arounds
  • Bringing the venue to life and helping clients picture their event there
  • Working with the events team to create tailored proposals
  • Following up, negotiating and converting enquiries into confirmed bookings
  • Managing your sales pipeline and keeping CRM information accurate and up to date

Once the booking is secured, you’ll hand everything across to the events team who will take care of the delivery.

Who Are We Looking For?

You’ll already have experience within sales or business development and be someone who is confident, personable and genuinely enjoys building relationships. Experience within events, weddings, hospitality or another premium/luxury sales environment would be ideal, although we’re equally interested in strong salespeople from other sectors where the buying decision is more considered and relationship-led. You’ll need to be commercially minded, organised and comfortable discussing budgets and closing business, while still providing the level of service expected within a premium environment. Most importantly, we’re looking for someone with personality, warmth and energy who will genuinely enjoy representing such a special venue.

Why This Role?

This is an opportunity to join an ambitious and growing hospitality business at an exciting stage in its development. You’ll work from an incredible setting, sell an experience people genuinely want to buy and play an important role in the continued growth of the venue. The role is predominantly Monday–Friday, although some flexibility for pre-arranged weekend show-arounds will be required.

Interested? Apply today or get in touch for a confidential conversation and we’ll happily tell you more.
