JOB TITLE – WAREHOUSE AND LOGISTICS MANAGER Reference: 891 Location: East Yorkshire Type: Permanent Salary: Up to £60,000 Job Summary: * We are currently representing a role on behalf of our industry leading client at their site based in the East Yorkshire region which is an excellent opportunity for a well rounded supply chain leader to establish themselves within the company and bring control to a busy warehouse and logistics function with a complicated product. * In this role you would oversee the warehouse team and ensure all customer orders are met, planned and as specified by individual customers. Main Duties: * Responsibility for ensuring quality of products shipped and Customer SLA’s are met. * Working with the site manager to reduce logistics costs. * Communicating regularly with the warehouse coordinator and any other relevant internal departments to ensure issues concerning sites, contractors, and any other customer contacts are shared and dealt with effectively, efficiently and promptly. * Support the transition to a pick, pack, despatch operation. * Responsibility for all aspects of site warehousing ensuring lead times and commitments is met in-line with customer orders. * Organise in-coming deliveries ensuring stock is booked on arrival. * Liaise effectively with Haulier / partners building robust relationships.
