JOB TITLE: TECHNICAL SUPPORT COORDINATOR

Type: Permanent | Salary: GBP35,000 – GBP40,000

Job Summary:

We are currently representing a role on behalf of our well-established client based in the East Yorkshire region.

Main Duties:

  1. Act as the first point of contact for technical issues raised on the shop floor, ensuring timely triage and resolution.
  2. Assess, direct, and escalate issues to the appropriate teams, including BOM, CAD, Purchasing, Technical, and Engineering.
  3. Maintain accurate logs of all raised issues using internal systems and action logs to ensure accountability and timely follow-up.
  4. Support Supplier Quality processes by gathering and providing clear evidence and context for reported concerns.
  5. Identify recurring issues, report trends, and contribute to continuous improvement efforts aimed at reducing future disruptions.

Person Specification:

  1. Prior experience in a technical support, production, or manufacturing coordination role.
  2. Familiarity with modular build, holiday home, or general manufacturing environments is highly desirable.
  3. Strong internal stakeholder management skills and the ability to remain calm under pressure.
