Supply Chain Coordinator

JOB TITLE – SUPPLY CHAIN COORDINATOR Reference: 871 Location: East Yorkshire Type: Permanent Salary: £32,000 – £40,000 Job Summary: We are currently representing a role on behalf of our well-established client based in the East Yorkshire region. * In this role, the primary focus will be supporting the Production and Stores departments by coordinating the delivery of products and materials in line with their requirements. Main Duties: * Build and develop effective relationships with existing and potential supply partners, and internal stakeholders. * Ordering of materials as required by lead times, or in accordance with regular MRPs or requisition requests. * Proactively implement and maintain inventory parameters to provide optimum balance between space, inventory cost and service levels. * Address supply partner and product quality concerns, propose and implement strategies to prevent recurrence. * Actively enforce and monitor inventory parameters to achieve the optimal balance between storage space, costs, and service levels. Person Specification: * Proven experience in purchasing, supply chain management or a related field. * Knowledge and experience of ERP systems and processes. * The ability to effectively prioritise workload to meet strict deadlines and targets. * Strong internal and external stakeholder management skills
