Procurement Specialist Opportunity! Salary: £45,000 – £55,000 Job Summary: We are currently representing a fantastic opportunity on behalf of a well-established UK manufacturer based at their site in East Yorkshire, who are expanding their procurement team to support continued business growth. Main Duties: * Support the development of the Procurement strategy and lead tenders, RFQs, benchmarking, and supplier evaluations. * Manage sourcing and ongoing category management to optimise spend and maximise value. * Negotiate commercial terms and ensure robust contracts in collaboration with legal and procurement teams. * Build and maintain strong supplier relationships, monitoring performance and driving improvements. * Work closely with internal stakeholders to understand needs, challenge existing approaches, and develop better sourcing solutions. * Deliver continuous improvements in cost, service, and quality year on year. Person Specification: * An understanding of contract law and commercial agreements. * Experience managing indirect spend.. * Solid understanding of contract law and commercial agreements * Highly organised, detail-oriented, and proactive in resolving procurement challenges. * Strong stakeholder management skills. * CIPS qualified or working towards
