Identify Talent are supporting a rapidly growing, global manufacturing business as they look to grow their supply chain team to support continued business growth.

The Role

  • This is an excellent opportunity for a developing Planner to take ownership of planning in a high-mix, fast-changing environment. You will support an experienced Planner and will also work with Sales, Manufacturing, Warehousing and international teams to ensure customer orders are shipped on time and in full, while maintaining availability of stocked lines for same-day dispatch.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing day-to-day production planning and scheduling within Sage 200.
  • Balancing fast-moving stocked items with bespoke, one-off orders.
  • Acting as the central link between sales, operations and warehouse.
  • Raising and managing Works Orders, monitoring inventory and maintaining planning parameters.
  • Re-planning as priorities change and highlighting constraints or bottlenecks.
  • Supporting continuous improvement of planning processes and ERP accuracy.

What we are looking for:

  • We’re looking for someone with experience in a manufacturing environment who understands manufacturing processes.
  • You’ll be confident using ERP/MRP systems and comfortable working with Excel.
  • Strong organisational skills.
  • The ability to manage competing priorities and a proactive, customer-focused mindset are essential.
  • You’ll also need strong communication skills and the confidence to work closely with colleagues across sales, manufacturing and warehousing.
