J O B T I T L E – M A T E R I A L S B U Y E R Reference: 808 Location: Hull Type: Permanent Salary: up to £50,000 Job Summary: We are currently representing a role on behalf of our well established and highly respected client based in the East Yorkshire region. * The Senior Buyer will be responsible for management of materials procurement for our client who are a construction and civil engineering company who have a strong reputation for delivering a high-quality service for their clients. Main Duties: * Source and purchase materials such as various aggregates, drainage, concrete and other essential supplies. * Negotiate contracts with suppliers to achieve the best value while maintaining quality standards. * Optimizing procurement processes to ensure timely delivery of materials. * Monitor the performance of suppliers and advise senior management of any misdemeanours or poor performance encountered. * Build, manage & maintain relationships with suppliers, site teams and other construction professionals.
