Job Summary: We are currently representing a fantastic opportunity on behalf of a well-established UK manufacturer based at their site in East Yorkshire, who are expanding their procurement team to support continued business growth.
Main Duties:
- Support the development of the Procurement strategy and lead tenders, RFQs, benchmarking, and supplier evaluations.
- Manage sourcing and ongoing category management to optimise spend and maximise value.
- Negotiate commercial terms and ensure robust contracts in collaboration with legal and procurement teams.
- Build and maintain strong supplier relationships, monitoring performance and driving improvements.
- Work closely with internal stakeholders to understand needs, challenge existing approaches, and develop better sourcing solutions.
- Deliver continuous improvements in cost, service, and quality year on year.
