Indirect Procurement Specialist

Reference: 779 Location: East Yorkshire Type: Permanent Salary: Up to £50,000 Job Summary: * We are currently representing a role on behalf of our leading industry client based in the East Yorkshire region, who now have a great opportunity for a strategic procurement professional to join their team with responsibility for indirect spend: Main Duties: * Lead indirect sourcing activities while ensuring supply strategies align with stakeholder needs and business objectives. * Develop and manage commercial strategies for indirect expenditure, including tendering, benchmarking, and spend optimization to maximize value. * Conduct market analysis to identify new supply options, negotiate agreements and establish robust supplier contracts that protect the business. * Manage supplier relationships, ensuring strong commercial partnerships and effective performance management. * Drive cost reduction initiatives while maintaining quality and service levels, ensuring procurement targets are met. Person Specification * Strong contract law and commercial contracts knowledge. * Ability to lead complex procurement projects. * Strategic procurement experience with prior experience managing a significant spend size * CIPS qualified or working towards
