We are seeking a skilled Design Technician to join a growing engineering and manufacturing environment, supporting the delivery of bespoke technical projects from concept through to production. This is a hands-on design role where you'll work closely with project and manufacturing teams to develop accurate, high-quality models and drawings that support real-world fabrication and installation. You'll play a key role in turning client specifications into practical, manufacturable solutions while maintaining high technical and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Produce accurate 3D models and detailed 2D manufacturing drawings using SolidWorks
- Develop design solutions that align with project requirements and manufacturing capability
- Prepare drawing packs for approval and production
- Revise designs in line with feedback from internal teams and clients
