My client is a multi award-winning UK digital transformation consultancy that’s become a go-to partner for mission-critical public sector programmes. They’re two-time award winners for Innovation, have retained Great Place to Work certification with an average 93% rating, and they’ve scaled significantly off the back of major programme wins across healthcare, transport, public safety and wider government services.
The work is genuinely tech-for-good at national scale — the kind of platforms and services that actually matter, used day-to-day by millions of people. They’re now looking to bring in an AWS Technical Architect to support a key programme.
What you’d be doing:
- Owning end-to-end AWS architecture across live programmes, not just producing designs and handing them off.
- Shaping cloud strategy, landing zones and platform architecture in line with security and compliance requirements typical of public sector environments.
- Working closely with engineering teams to ensure what’s designed is actually deliverable and built properly.
- Engaging with senior stakeholders to translate complex requirements into scalable, resilient solutions.
- Driving best practice across governance, DevOps, automation and infrastructure as code.
- Getting involved in solving real delivery challenges, not just operating at a high-level consulting layer.
It’s very much an environment where architects are expected to lead, influence and shape outcomes, rather than just sit alongside delivery.
Please apply if this sounds of interest!
