An exciting opportunity has arisen for experienced Project Managers to join a growing Smart Infrastructure team, delivering structured cabling and technology solutions within mission-critical data centre environments.
We are seeking high-calibre PMs with strong leadership experience in data centre settings, ideally within highly regulated sectors such as banking or financial services.
The Role
You will be responsible for the end-to-end delivery of structured cabling and associated infrastructure projects, ensuring successful outcomes across time, cost, quality, and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver projects within data centre environments, ensuring adherence to best practice and operational standards
- Manage full project lifecycle including initiation, planning, execution, and close-out
- Ensure delivery against time, cost, quality, and customer expectations
- Support bid teams with technical input, design considerations, and cost modelling
- Drive commercial performance, including scope growth and variation management
- Maintain compliance with company processes, statutory obligations, and H&S standards
- Provide accurate and timely project reporting to internal and external stakeholders
- Lead and manage project teams, ensuring alignment with business objectives
- Champion continuous improvement and innovation
Essential Experience
- Strong Project Management experience within data centre environments (MUST HAVE)
- Background delivering projects within banking or financial services environments
- Proven delivery of projects in mission-critical infrastructure settings
- Minimum 5+ years’ experience in structured cabling or similar environments
- Demonstrable experience managing end-to-end project delivery
- Strong understanding of data centre infrastructure and operational best practices
- Experience managing commercial aspects of projects
Qualifications & Skills
- PRINCE2 Practitioner (or equivalent)
- SMSTS or equivalent (site safety management)
- ECS Health & Safety Managers Card
- Knowledge of CDM regulations and site safety compliance
- Strong technical understanding of structured cabling systems and testing standards
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
- Proactive, solutions-focused, and commercially aware
