We are seeking an experienced Azure Consultant to support the design and implementation of an existing Azure Tenant. The successful candidate will ensure Azure subscriptions align with Microsoft best practices and enterprise architecture standards. This role is remote, with only occasional on-site visits. SC clearance is required.
Key Responsibilities:- Assess and remediate the current Azure Landing Zone to align with Microsoft best practices and EA standards (brownfield Azure Landing Zone Remediation).
- Gather requirements from Line-of-Business (LoB) applications and design, build, and deploy new Azure subscriptions from blueprint designs.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to provide architecture guidance and recommendations.
- Ensure best practice implementation across IaaS subscriptions and Azure services.
- Proven experience in Azure architecture and design.
- Strong understanding of Azure Landing Zones and IaaS best practices.
- Customer-facing experience with the ability to explain complex technical concepts clearly.
- SC clearance.
- Experience with LoB application requirements gathering.
- Familiarity with enterprise-scale Azure deployments and reference architectures.
- Knowledge of Azure governance, security, and compliance frameworks.
- Relevant Microsoft Azure certifications (e.g., Azure Solutions Architect, Azure Administrator) preferred but not mandatory.
