Mission-Critical IT Role in the NATO Domain – Infrastructure & Service Management Lead | Brussels Area | €450-475p/d euros | Outside IR35
Are you ready to step into a strategic IT leadership role supporting critical NATO operations? We're seeking a proactive Infrastructure & Service Management Lead to manage and enhance essential IT services and systems. Based near Brussels (Braine-l’Alleud), this hybrid role (50% on-site) puts you at the heart of a secure, high-impact environment where your work will truly matter.
Key Responsibilities:- Own infrastructure readiness and maintain service levels aligned with SLAs.
- Lead engineering support delivery and ensure quality outcomes for the customer.
- Manage Configuration and Change Management processes with precision.
- Conduct periodic risk and obsolescence assessments and launch proactive projects.
- Lead service transitions and drive continual service improvements.
- Oversee manpower and budget requirements with foresight and accuracy.
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field + 3 years post-related experience.
- ITIL Foundation + Intermediate certifications (PPO, RCV, OSA, SOA, CSI).
- Experience across IT service operations, engineering, and lifecycle management.
- Proven leadership, mentoring, and motivational skills.
- Expertise in Configuration and Change Management tools and processes.
- Strong business and planning acumen (budgeting, contingency planning, etc.).
- ITIL Expert / Managing Professional
- PRINCE2 Foundation or PMI PMP
- MSP & MoR Foundation
- Background as a Service Manager in structured environments
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Strong team spirit with a proactive approach
- Languages: Fluent English
