Senior Project Manager – Senior Agile Delivery Manager
6m inside IR35 contract
Hybrid – 2 days per week onsite (London and Preston)
SC clearance required
We’re working with an IT managed service provider, and this role is working on one of their secure end-customer projects.
We need an SC cleared Senior Agile Project Manager with experience of Agile Systems Development who is also experienced in coaching at a Portfolio level (Scaled Agile Framework).
To be considered for this role, you’ll need to:
- Be able to guide and influence Agile Delivery Teams, their Manager and Middle Management.
- Be able to suggest and communicate numerous Agile strategies in a complex business environment; this is much more than setting up some Scrum/Kanban Teams.
- Instruct the customer on appropriate metrics to be gathered and presented to enable decision making and show progress.
- Be fluent in Jira to advise on metrics and light configuration.
- Have demonstrable experience at an enterprise level.
- Have experience of leading the restructuring of an organisation.
- Ideally possess an Agile accreditation.
- Be comfortable working on site in Preston and London weekly in the first instance; reasonable travel may be required and is dependent on customer needs at customer discretion.
- Spend some time onsite at other locations at customer discretion (once settled into the assignment, this may be negotiable with the client based on need).
- Two days on site, at least initially.
Your UK MOD/GOV SC clearance must be active and be in use currently, or have been used within the previous 10-11 months (making it transferable). The SC clearance we need is not a Banking or Financial Services security clearance.
