We’re hiring a Senior Engineer with an active SC clearance to help deliver and maintain scalable, secure, and flexible communication platforms for a critical national programme.
This is a unique opportunity to work at the intersection of real-time collaboration, containerisation, and infrastructure automation, supporting a big governmental programme focusing on the secured communications platform.
Your role will focus on the deployment and implementation of Rocket.Chat and Jitsi products—specifically streamlining how these systems are templated, deployed, and prepared for future migration and integration with other applications.
- Creating deployment templates (e.g. Automating the deployment process (CI/CD pipelines, Infrastructure as Code)
- Build scalable, secure deployment architectures for real-time communication
- Automate deployments and CI/CD pipelines using GitLab CI, Jenkins, or ArgoCD
- Troubleshoot and support complex platform deployments
- Collaborate with DevOps, AppSec, and engineering teams
- Document everything from architecture and configuration to custom builds
- Scripting/programming skills – JavaScript/Node.js, Python, or Bash
- Experience with Linux systems, network configuration, and firewalls
- Experience with MongoDB, PostgreSQL, Redis and secure back-end infrastructure
12-month+ contract with hybrid flexibility
