  • Risk & Compliance: Collaborate with Privacy, Risk, and Audit teams to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal standards.
  • Strategic Planning & Resilience: Support the long-term security strategy, while identifying opportunities to improve operational resilience.
  • Incident Response Management: Own the security incident response process—ensuring quick, coordinated, and effective handling of events.
  • Budget & Vendor Management: Contribute to budget planning, resource allocation, and manage key security vendors.

  • A track record of leading change in dynamic, security-conscious environments.
  • Strong knowledge of emerging threats, horizon scanning, and maintaining high standards of operational security.
  • Experience improving and assuring vulnerability management, SOC operations, and incident response maturity.
  • Advanced certifications (e.g., CISSP, GIAC) and vendor-specific security qualifications preferred.
  • Strong networking and security tooling knowledge.
  • Excellent communication skills, able to simplify complex information for a range of stakeholders.
  • Analytical and strategic mindset with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
