We are seeking an experienced DV-cleared Service Manager to support the delivery and operation of secure, mission-critical services within a high-assurance defence and aerospace environment. This role is central to ensuring effective service models, governance, and performance across complex programmes.
Role Overview
- Service & Support Management
- Ensure robust service and support models are in place to support project and operational teams
- Support the development and implementation of enterprise service management models aligned to programme needs
- Act as a key interface between delivery, operations, and security stakeholders
- Performance, Metrics & Governance
- Define, track, and report on KPIs and SLAs to ensure service performance meets agreed targets
- Support change, service performance, and management reporting
- Identify service improvement opportunities and contribute to continual service improvement activities
- Audit, Compliance & Assurance
- Support audit and compliance activities in line with security and governance requirements
- Provide service management input into assurance reviews and governance forums
- Documentation & Knowledge Transfer
- Document service management activities to support operational continuity
- Package and manage service artefacts and deliverables for governance and assurance purposes
- Support handover activities and long-term service sustainability
Essential Skills & Experience
- Proven experience as a Service Manager within complex IT or secure service environments
- Strong understanding of service management frameworks (e.g. ITIL)
- Experience managing KPIs, SLAs, and service performance reporting
- Experience supporting audit, compliance, and governance activities
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
- Experience in defence, aerospace, or highly regulated environments
