We are currently seeking an experienced P6 Planner to join a high-profile programme in Berkshire on an 18-month contract basis. This is an excellent opportunity for a proactive planning professional with strong Primavera P6 expertise to play a key role in delivering integrated programme planning and project controls support within a complex, highly regulated environment.

As the P6 Planner, you will be responsible for maintaining the Integrated Master Schedule (IMS), supporting programme delivery through robust planning, schedule integrity, Earned Value Management (EVM), and stakeholder engagement across multidisciplinary teams.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver and maintain the complete planning capability across the programme through effective management of the Integrated Master Schedule (IMS)
  • Provide expert Planning and Earned Value Management (EVM) support to internal project teams
  • Produce accurate and timely schedule forecasts to support programme decision-making
  • Conduct schedule analysis, including critical path analysis and Schedule Performance Index (SPI) reporting
  • Support Task Managers with business rhythms, network analysis, reporting, and programme communications
  • Lead planning meetings and actively promote the value and benefits of effective scheduling across project teams
  • Support long-range operational integrated programme planning activities
  • Assist with the continuous improvement of planning processes, procedures, tools, templates, and EVMS methodologies
  • Build strong working relationships with Project Managers, engineers, scientists, and key programme stakeholders
  • Ensure high standards across safety, quality, security, and environmental compliance
