One of the World's leading consumer brands is looking for a National Account Manager to manage and grow both existing and new key accounts. The role will also be responsible for managing and developing national key accounts to provide growth to the business. Please note this role will be both office and field based, so a full clean driving licence is needed. Ideally, you will be based in central England within commutable distance from Bedford.
Key responsibilities:
- Managing the complete accounts process e.g. pricing audits, customer presentations, internal file management, product launches and category management / promotional initiatives.
- Work with the Business Manager to ensure the key KPI’s are being met within the assigned accounts.
- Collaborate with relevant buyers within the accounts to present new products to the buyers/managers/marketing departments within the account portfolio.
- Maximise account profit via effective negotiation and the implementation of a promotional sales budget, retail promotion plan, and category management initiatives.
- Continually explore and drive new business opportunities within the accounts.
- Build strong relationships at all levels within the accounts.
- Maintenance of pricing and forecasting files.
- Utilise SAP and work with the Customer Service Group (CSG) and Logistics department to track sales orders vs. customer service levels.
- Work with teams to investigate and solve delivery issues.
- Attend Head Office meetings and coordinate any ad hoc projects e.g. training, marketing, sales reports and promotional events.
