Overview
This is a UK-wide field role supporting customers across the construction sector. Travel is fully covered, but applicants should be comfortable spending regular time on the road and working away from home when required.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Provide hands-on technical support and customer training for machine control products and sensors (GNSS, Total Stations (TPS), Laser)
- Attend customer sites for servicing, maintenance, fault diagnosis and reactive support
- Support data preparation and site/infrastructure setup for machine control environments
- Act as a technical ambassador for the company’s geospatial and machine control portfolio
- Work closely with distribution partners to deliver solutions and increase customer adoption
- Test and validate new firmware/software releases, supporting demos, events and exhibitions when required
What We’re Looking For
- Higher education in Surveying / Civil Engineering, or equivalent industry experience
- Proven knowledge of GNSS systems, total stations, and/or laser-based technology
- Practical experience supporting machine control systems in construction environments
- Familiarity with design/mapping software such as LSS, iCON Office, Infinity, LISCAD
- Strong troubleshooting skills and a logical, methodical approach to fault finding
- Excellent communication skills — able to train both technical and non-technical users
- Strong time management, self-motivation, and willingness to travel nationally
- Full, clean UK driving licence
