Each year, the organisation supports tens of thousands of people affected by these incidents, compensating victims quickly, fairly and compassionately. In partnership with police, insurers and government, they work towards a future where such incidents are a thing of the past.

As the Business Analyst, your role is to ensure that business processes and supporting systems continue to meet business project stakeholder needs. You will provide leadership across the organisation on BA techniques, ensuring standards are defined, and best practice is adopted. You will be a key liaison between the technical IT colleagues that implement business process management technology-based solutions and the line-of-business that performs the process work (manually or in conjunction with automated systems). Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the BA practice within, ensuring that appropriate standards and techniques are adopted and introducing continuous improvement
  • Understand and demonstrate through models how the business processes support business strategies and objectives
  • Via models, demonstrate the opportunities for business process improvement to the process owner and other key project stakeholders
  • Suggest process flow, personnel resource, policy, goal and rule changes along with metrics to measure the impact of those changes
  • Work within guidelines driven from enterprise architecture by the business process architect when determining the current as-is state of a business process, and update current-state business process documentation as needed
  • Lead the delivery of the BA elements of agile methodologies
  • Support Product and Process owners with innovative solutions, documentation of processes including controls to standards
  • Define, document and agree business processes at all levels
  • Develop systems specifications and other work products
  • Participate in evaluation of packaged solutions
  • Assist in production of user material to support systems
