We are looking for a reliable and SC-cleared IT Deployment Support Technician to assist with an on-site device refresh programme at a secure government location. This role involves supporting the end-to-end laptop migration process, including equipment handling, user handovers, and workflow system updates.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in setting up and operating the Refresh Clinic
- Move devices between secure storage and the refresh location as instructed
- Hand over and collect laptops from users per the migration schedule
- Update records in the contractor’s workflow management system
- Perform daily stock checks and report findings
- Accurately label and package returned devices for disposal or refurbishment
- Escalate unresolved technical issues to Post-Migration Support as needed
- Ensure all devices are secured at the end of each day
Requirements:
- Active SC Clearance (essential – candidates without cannot be considered)
- Experience in IT support, deployments, or logistics (preferred but not essential)
- Comfortable working in a secure, high-compliance environment
