IT Support Engineer

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented IT Support Engineer to join a secure device refresh and migration initiative in the King’s Lynn area. This position is fully onsite at a high-security defence location, requiring experience in hardware deployment and end-user device lifecycle management.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Set up and manage the onsite refresh clinic for user migrations.
  2. Prepare and deploy hardware according to the project’s rollout schedule.
  3. Collect and return legacy equipment for refurbishment or disposal.
  4. Maintain accurate logs using the workflow management system.
  5. Perform stock checks and equipment tracking.
  6. Support onsite users and escalate unresolved technical issues to senior support staff.
  7. Follow strict site procedures and adhere to security and safety protocols.
  8. Current SC Clearance – mandatory for site access.
  9. Hands-on experience with Windows 10/11 device rollouts and refresh projects.
  10. Ability to work in a structured environment with daily task tracking.
  11. Excellent communication and problem-solving skills in face-to-face support settings.
  12. Familiarity with stock control, hardware handling, and device imaging tools.
