IT Support Engineer – Device Migration (SC Cleared)

Location: Onsite – Hereford, UK

Contract: 3 months(with a view to extend)

Pay Rates: £25.15/hr

Role Overview

We are seeking an SC Cleared IT Support Engineer to assist with a large-scale device migration project for a secure defence site in the Hereford area. This hands-on role involves setting up and supporting the migration of laptops within a structured and secure environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the setup of a refresh clinic for laptop migration.
• Move and prepare IT equipment from storage to deployment areas as instructed.
• Build, refresh, and configure laptops following documented processes.
• Update workflow management systems accurately at every stage.
• Conduct daily stock checks and report findings to the site manager.
• Ensure all devices are securely stored at the end of each day.
• Work collaboratively with onsite engineers and technical support staff.

Requirements

• Active SC Clearance (essential).
• Experience in IT deployment, hardware refresh, or early-life support roles.
• Strong attention to detail and adherence to security and process standards.
• Willingness to work on a secure military site.
