We are currently seeking an organised and detail-oriented IT Support Administrator to join a well-established team onsite at a secure government location in Helston. This role is ideal for someone with a background in IT support, ticket and asset management, and a solid understanding of hardware triage and repair.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage incoming tickets for your designated hub and surrounding spokes, ensuring timely updates and maintaining service levels.
- Handle hub stock and asset management, including scanning kit in and out in line with contract requirements.
- Manage IT equipment disposals processed through the hub, following proper procedures.
- Triage and carry out basic hardware repairs on warranty equipment, working with vendors for parts and returns.
- Replenish IT lockers on site as required.
- Identify and escalate potential service issues or improvements to the Team Leader.
- Adhere to all site-specific regulations and internal IT processes.
Current SC Clearance is mandatory for this position. Demonstrable experience in IT support, ticketing systems, and hardware handling is required. Familiarity with asset management and stock control processes is essential. The ability to follow strict procedures and work independently in a secure environment is necessary. Strong communication and organisational skills are also important.
