Head of Marketing (B2B – Consulting / Professional Services)
Location: Hybrid – With travel to Milton Keynes as needed.
Contract: 3-month FTC (potential to extend)
Salary: ÂŁ70k DOE, will consider part-time (pro-rota)

As we scale, we’re investing in a best-in-class marketing function — and we’re looking for a strategic, technically fluent Head of Marketing to lead from the front.
We want marketing that stands out, not blends in. Thought leadership that cuts through, not jargon. Campaigns that feel like B2C, but deliver B2B impact.

Your Mission…
Build the Function
- Set up the full B2B marketing operation: systems, strategy, structure, and team
- Lead cross-functional alignment between marketing, sales, and service lines
- Develop and embed a performance-led culture with clear KPIs and measurable ROI
- Own the marketing strategy aligned to commercial growth objectives
- Collaborate with technical experts to translate complex services into clear value propositions
Digital & Performance Marketing
- Drive demand generation through SEO, PPC, paid social, email, and partner campaigns
- Introduce and optimise marketing automation tools and nurture workflows
- Establish performance dashboards and regular reporting using platforms such as:
Content & Brand
- Develop compelling thought leadership, whitepapers, case studies and messaging frameworks
- Support bid and commercial teams with tailored assets and positioning
- Act as brand guardian across all channels and collateral
Stakeholder Collaboration
- Partner with leadership, consultants, and client teams to align marketing with GTM strategy
- Support internal enablement through campaigns, tools, and education
- Present regular insights and recommendations to board and senior stakeholders
What You’ll Bring
- Senior B2B marketing experience in consulting, professional services , or tech-enabled recruitment
- Proven ability to build or transform a marketing function from scratch
- Commercial acumen and a clear understanding of the B2B buying journey in complex sales cycles
- Strong grasp of marketing tech stack — including GA4, SEMrush, CRM, automation platforms, analytics dashboards, PPC/SEO tools
- Skilled in campaign planning, demand generation, lead scoring, and funnel optimisation
- Outstanding communication and stakeholder engagement skills
- A mindset geared towards data, results, and continuous improvement
