8 Months FTC – Band 6 – Pro Rata £38,682 to £46,580,

Are you passionate about digital transformation in healthcare? Want to play a key role in one of the region’s most ambitious EPR (Electronic Patient Record) programmes?

This Trust is looking for an experienced EPR Application Analyst & Principal Trainer to join our dynamic digital health team. You’ll be at the heart of designing, configuring, and delivering transformational change across multiple care pathways with MEDITECH EPR ensuring clinicians and healthcare teams have the digital tools they need to deliver exceptional care.

Your Role

As a trusted subject matter expert, you’ll lead the end-to-end configuration, training, and optimisation of care pathways within the EPR programme, focusing on a specific clinical or operational area aligned to your experience.

You will:

• Configure and optimise MEDITECH Expanse applications to match future-state workflows
• Act as the key trainer for your workstream – delivering training to analysts and clinical users
• Collaborate with clinical, administrative and technical teams to ensure safe, efficient, and user-friendly implementation
• Support integration across the wider digital ecosystem including devices, reporting, and business continuity
• Champion best practice and act as a conduit between technical builds and clinical reality

What You’ll Be Doing

• Complete MEDITECH Expanse application & Train-the-Trainer certifications
• Deliver hands-on training to clinical and operational teams pre- and post-go live
• Analyse existing workflows and help design, build and validate improved processes
• Maintain training materials in line with upgrades and enhancements
• Troubleshoot, test and support rollout of new functionality
• Deputise for the Lead Application Analyst, contributing to governance and change engagement

What You’ll Bring

• Strong experience working within healthcare IT, EPR programmes, or clinical digital transformation
• Deep understanding of one or more clinical/operational pathways (see Appendix 1)
• Excellent problem-solving, stakeholder engagement, and communication skills
• Proficiency in analysing data, documenting workflows, and delivering complex training
• Experience working collaboratively across IT, training, clinical and governance teams
• Configuration and build experience with MEDITECH Expanse (or similar EPR)
• Experience working within NHS environments or large healthcare settings
• Knowledge of integrated testing, data migration, and change management
• A proactive, user-first mindset—ready to bridge the gap between technology and patient care
