We’re looking for an experienced and driven Senior Cloud Architect & DevOps Engineer with active SC clearance to lead on the design and implementation of enterprise-level solutions in a secure and complex environment. This is a high-impact role within a forward-thinking organisation, where you’ll architect innovative systems and collaborate across business and technical teams to shape the future of digital delivery.
What You’ll Do
- Design secure, scalable, high-performance architectural frameworks for enterprise systems
- Work with stakeholders to define requirements and translate them into robust technical specifications
- Guide development teams through end-to-end implementation of solutions
- Lead architecture assurance and governance throughout the lifecycle
- Evaluate existing systems and recommend improvements or re-platforming
- Stay current on emerging technologies, patterns, and industry trends
- Present solutions clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences
- Mentor junior architects and promote knowledge sharing across teams
What You’ll Bring
- Proven experience as a Solution Architect or similar senior design role
- Deep understanding of on-prem, hybrid, and cloud architectures
- Familiarity with microservices, containerisation, and enterprise integration patterns
- Experience designing solutions in secure and regulated environments
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication skills with confidence in stakeholder engagement
- Certifications like TOGAF or AWS/Azure Solution Architect are desirable but not essential
