User Researcher

Four-month contract until 31 March 2026 with possible extension. Remote role with occasional on-site work if needed.

Role Purpose

You support discovery for the Integrated Care Record. You lead research that helps the Wales NHS understand users and design accessible digital services. You turn evidence into clear direction for teams.

Key Tasks

• Plan and run research sessions with users across health and social care.
• Collect, analyse, and share qualitative and quantitative findings.
• Produce clear insights that guide design and delivery.
• Work with multidisciplinary teams to align research with service goals.
• Test concepts and identify user needs early.
• Ensure research includes users with different access needs.

Must-have Skills

• Strong experience planning and leading user research.
• Skilled in interviews, usability testing, and data synthesis.
• Able to explain findings in clear, structured language.
• Experienced working with digital teams.
• Skilled in user‑centred and Agile practices.
• Evidence of continuous professional development.
