Overview: NHS Wales is seeking an experienced Project Support Manager to support delivery of a nationally significant digital health programme. You will work on complex transformation activity that improves how health and care services share information across Wales.
Key responsibilities:
- Support delivery of low to medium complexity projects within agreed scope, time, and quality.
- Build and maintain project plans, RAID logs, and governance documentation.
- Coordinate project activity and track progress against milestones.
- Support business case development and updates.
- Prepare reports, highlight updates, and papers for boards and senior stakeholders.
- Manage risks, issues, and dependencies and escalate when required.
- Support stakeholder engagement across health and social care organisations.
- Maintain accurate project documentation and controls.
- Support budget tracking and basic procurement activity.
Required experience:
- Proven experience supporting transformation or digital projects in large, complex organisations.
- Strong knowledge of project management frameworks and controls.
- Experience working with multiple stakeholders with competing priorities.
- Ability to analyse information and present clear recommendations.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience working within NHS Wales or the wider health sector.
Working arrangements:
- Full time, 37.5 hours per week.
- Hybrid working with remote working expected initially.
- Occasional on-site working in Cardiff may be required.
This role is assessed as inside IR35.
