Security Engineer (Microsoft Security / Azure) Milton Keynes | Hybrid (2 days per week) | Β£70,000 + Bonus + Excellent Benefits Are you a hands-on Security Engineer who enjoys implementing security controls, improving security posture and working across a broad Microsoft security environment? We're supporting a well-established UK organisation as they expand their Security Engineering team following the launch of a long-term security improvement programme. This is a newly created position offering the opportunity to help shape and strengthen enterprise security across a modern, cloud-first environment. About your Role This is a broad Security Engineering role where you'll work across multiple technologies and security domains rather than being limited to a single product or specialism. Working alongside Security Operations, Architecture, Infrastructure and Development teams, you'll design, implement and continually improve security controls while supporting projects, reviewing new technologies and helping enhance the organisation's overall security capability. What You'll Be Doing Designing, implementing and improving enterprise security controls Supporting security across a predominantly Microsoft Azure environment Reviewing and optimising Microsoft security technologies Identifying security gaps and driving technical improvements Supporting vulnerability management and remediation activities Providing security engineering expertise on technical projects Improving documentation, processes and security standards Working closely with technical teams to ensure security is embedded throughout delivery Technology Environment You'll work with a broad Microsoft security stack including technologies such as: Microsoft Azure Microsoft Defender Microsoft Defender for Endpoint Microsoft Defender for Cloud Microsoft Purview Intune Tenable Zscaler Enterprise vulnerability management and cloud-native security technologies What do you need to be successful ? We're looking for an experienced Security Engineer with a strong background in implementing and improving security controls within enterprise environments.
