At Iden Manor Nursing Home, we're looking for a Registered Nurse who wants to do more than simply complete a shift.
We're a family-owned nursing home in Staplehurst, caring for people with a wide range of nursing needs, including dementia, complex care and end-of-life care. Our nurses are an important part of how we lead care, working closely with residents, families and the wider multidisciplinary team.
What you'll be doing
You'll provide safe, thoughtful and individualised nursing care, assessing needs, planning care and evaluating outcomes while keeping the resident's choices, wishes and quality of life at the centre of decisions.
You'll also have the opportunity to use and develop your clinical judgement, contribute to multidisciplinary decisions, support and mentor colleagues, and play an active part in clinical audit and improving the way we deliver care.
We're particularly interested in nurses who enjoy being part of a team, but who are also confident enough to think, question and take responsibility.
What we're looking for
You’ll need:
- Current NMC registration
- At least one year's nursing experience
- Strong clinical and communication skills
- Good record keeping and digital confidence
- The ability to work collaboratively with residents, families and professional colleagues
- A supportive approach to developing other members of the team
- A commitment to continuing your own professional development
Experience in care homes, dementia, complex nursing or end-of-life care would be valuable, although the right attitude and approach matter enormously to us.
